About the Annual Conference & Exhibition

This is the 10th Biometrics Institute Australia Conference which is the leading biometrics event in the region presented by the not-for-profit Biometrics Institute Ltd. This event will give you access to the key players in the Biometrics Industry and you can share your experiences with other biometrics users.
The event will focus on biometrics including commercial and government applications, technology updates, privacy considerations, standards, interoperability, testing & evaluation.
There will be a dinner on 28 May 2009 and workshops on the 27 May 2009.

Research Poster Exhibition

This event is a unique opportunity for you and your research organisation/ university to present your most recent scientific advances in biometric research and development to representatives from government, industry and the biometric user sector in a Poster Exhibition and Short Presentation.
4 Poster presentations have been confirmed including DSTO, RMIT and QUT.
Submission deadline for contributions: 1 May 2009.
Your participation as a poster presenter includes:
- A poster to be displayed within the Biometrics Institute Conference Exhibition PLUS
- A 10 -15 mins presentation on your research within the conference.
- The exhibition of posters is limited to 8 (eight) exhibitors.
