Overview: 

The course content and case studies are intended to inform management consideration of the question of whether and how a biometric solution has a role to play in improving identity security, process efficiency and/or the customer experience. This course will enable attendees to apply fundamental principles of identity verification, including an understanding of the inherent strengths and weaknesses of biometric solutions, to their business.

This one day course will cover:

  • Strategic Context 
  • Identity Fundamentals
  • The limits of Biometric Solutions
  • Implications for Business Solution Design

By attending this workshop participants will be able to:Identify the strategic issues in identity management relevant to their business - inc. legal authority, community attitudes, legacy data and procedures, service channels. Understand fundamental principles of identity verification - inc. error, fraud, identity attributes, probability and the identity paradox. Assess the limits of a biometric identity verification solution and therefore whether, and if so how, such a solution can best contribute to meeting business objectives.

We are also offering Certificates of Attendance on completion of this course.
