Technical Committee
Terms of Reference:
"The Technical Committee of the Biometrics Institute focuses on the provision of accurate and unbiased technical information, training and education to the board and members of the Biometrics Institute. It aims to foster leading-edge developments in the Biometrics area related to both applied and fundamental research into human identification." (March 2005)
Background:
The Biometrics Institute established a Technical Committee in November 2003 to provide the board and the Institute on technical matters in biometrics.
Membership:
- The number of members is limited to 8 participants.
- Members are confirmed by the Biometrics Institute Board. Application for joining the Technical Committee is made to the Chief Excutive including an outline of interest in the committee, expected contributions and a short biography. Members are required to participate in at least three meetings (telephone).
