MEETING OUTLINE
The Biometrics Institute aims to deliver content to its members in a timely and concise format. Our online On the Pulse Conversations allow our members to connect globally and discuss important topics as and when the conversation is most needed.
This On the Pulse Conversation takes a closer look at one of the key themes of our 2025 State of Biometrics Report – Keeping It Real.
How do we know who to trust online? Artificial intelligence (AI) has both significantly improved the accuracy and significantly challenged the utility of biometrics. We’ve entered a world where AI-generated images, videos, and deepfakes make it extremely difficult to determine what’s real and what is fake. So, who does this most affect and what is being done to ensure what’s real, and perhaps more importantly, what isn’t?
This 60-minute session will offer an insight into members’ views on the digital identity challenge, the benefits and risks of AI driven biometrics and on good practices to link a person to their identity through the responsible use of biometrics.
Confirmed speakers include:
- Ajay Amlani, CEO, Aware
- Reinhard Hochrieser, SVP, Product & Technology, Jumio
- Paul Hulford, CEO and Founder, Attain Insight
- Jakub Sochor, CTO, Innovatrics
