Application - Supplier Membership

A company, partnership, statutory authority or government department or other entity which is in the opinion of the Board carrying on business involving the supply of biometric technology, equipment or services may apply for admission as a Supplier Member of the Institute. This includes manufacturers of biometric technologies, card manufacturers, system integrators, consultants amongst others.
  • Membership Categories
    • Supplier Member

      A company, partnership, statutory authority or government department or other entity which is in the opinion of the Board carrying on business involving the supply of biometric equipment or services may apply for admission as a Supplier Member of the Institute.

      Example: A consultant, manufacturer, system integrator. If you are a User e.g. government agency, financial institution, airline, please apply in the User category.

    • Number of participants you can add to the membership: Small (1), Medium (2-3), Large (4-9), Very Large (10-30), Extra Large (31-50)
      Please tick for a 3 year subscription. Membership rates are frozen at the current level for 3 years. Please note that you will be invoiced for the total amount for 3 years upfront.
    • Payment Instructions

      Upon approval from the board, we will forward an invoice with payment instructions. Payment may be made online using a credit card, or via bank transfer.

      Currencies outline

      If your organisation is based in Australia, a tax invoice including GST will be issued in AUD.

      Europe, an invoice will be issued in GBP exclusive of tax.

      If your organisation is based in a country not specified above, an invoice exclusive of tax will be issued in AUD.

    • N.B You may select more than one location only if financial active members within your organisation are based in all locations selected.
    • Supplier directory may be viewed online.
      On behalf of the above identified organistion, application is hereby applied for membership of the Biometrics Institute. The above organisation, on being elected to membership, undertakes to abide by the Institute’s Constitution, and by such by-laws of the Institute, as may be in force from time to time, and acknowledges that its liability by way of guarantee in terms of the Constitution is limited to $20. Please note that all admissions to membership are entirely at the discretion of the Board of Directors.
      In line with the Biometrics Institute Constitution, a member can deliver to the Institute a written notice resigning the membership. However, the cessation of membership by a member for any reason does not affect the liabilities and obligations of the member (clauses 12.1.a and 12.5).

      Processing payment for your membership, creating a membership certificate, publishing in our members register, for communicating with you electronically and by post to inform you of future Biometrics Institute activities, events, news and member services. You consent to Biometrics Institute transferring your data outside of the EEA to its group companies and partners for the purposes set out above.

      Should you wish to withdraw your consent to our processing of your data or should you wish to amend the data that we hold for you for the above purposes, please send an email to member@biometricsinstitute.org with the title ‘Privacy Statement Withdrawal’.
