Join us to help shape a responsible future of biometrics.

This complimentary Asia-Pacific Conference side-event (places are limited, reserved for Asia-Pacific Conference delegates, and priority given to our members) offers the chance to meet with the Expert and Sector Groups of the Biometrics Institute who help develop our good practice guidance and de-facto governance standards.

The highly interactive half-day event will explore existing recommended and good practices for biometrics and how to put them into use. It is also the opportunity for participants to provide input into current and future Biometrics Institute projects and activities, all with the aim of continuing to promote the responsible and ethical use of biometrics.

In previous Joint Expert Group Briefings, with thanks to our members’ input, we have been able to understand where the most pressing need for good practice guidance lies, and what might be required to fill the gaps. In past years this has led to the development of our Ethical Principles for Biometrics and Verification (1:1) and identification (1:n) explanatory graphics.

REGISTRATION

Attendance is included in the Biometrics Institute Asia-Pacific Conference 2026 fee and is available to all delegates. Registration however is essential to secure a seat and places are limited. Register here.
