ABOUT THE EVENT
The Biometrics Institute Congress is the industry gathering for the biometrics community globally. For the past 20 years the institute has been leading the debate about the responsible and ethical use of biometrics in a global and diverse stakeholder community through a balanced discussion.
This event is the opportunity to come together, share knowledge and experiences, discuss new trends and shape the future of this industry responsibly, in a trusted environment.
Following our members feedback on international travel restrictions and our role of bringing our global community together, we have decided to hold the 2021 event online and return to the QEII Conference Centre in London in 2022. The Congress will spread across the month of October and will again be held over four days consisting of two sessions per day.
Session one: The state of biometrics (6 October)
Session two: The future of travel and border management (6 October)
Session three: The power of digital ID (13 October)
Session four: The responsible use of biometrics – the Three Laws of Biometrics (13 October)
Session five: Technology innovation – Standards, testing, contactless biometrics (20 October)
Session six: Biometrics across the globe (20 October)
Session seven: Biometrics in practice (26 October)
Session eight: Question time – What is the future of biometrics? Ask the experts (26 October)
Please note that session titles are subject to change. More details will follow soon.
